Timo Glock will step back in time when he gets behind the wheel of a Toyota GT-One at the Old Timer Grand Prix event at the Nurburgring.
The GT-One holds a special place in Toyota's history having raced in the Le Mans 24 Hours in 1998 and 1999. In the latter event the car took pole position and followed that up with a second placed result.
Now the GT-One will hit the track again when Glock puts it through its paces at the at the Nurburgring on August 9, as part of the Old Timer Grand Prix event.
The car has not raced since 1999 but an example is kept in running condition at Panasonic Toyota Racing's technical centre in Cologne, Germany and it makes occasional appearances at events such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
