The 2010 Monaco Grand Prix could be pushed forward by a week in order to give teams more time to transport their equipment to Turkey.
When the FIA's World Motor Sport Council released the provisional 2010 calendar in September concerns were immediately raised about the schedule, which sees Turkey take place just a week after Monaco. The teams are then due in Canada just two weeks later.
The teams have voiced their concerns about the logistics of transporting their equipment between the three races and Bernie Ecclestone has accepted that changes could be made.
One of those changes looks set to be to Monaco's date with the Monte Carlo race organisers stating that the grand prix will move forward a week, taking place on May 16th.
"Although the official calendar of the 2010 F1 events is not yet published by the Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, we strongly consider that the original dates of the 68th Grand Prix Automobile de Monaco announced will be advanced 13th to 16th May 2010, Ascension Day," said a statement from Monaco's sporting body the ACM.
